Love: Your Passion

     What is passion?

   Passion is the intense, driving or overmastering feeling or conviction.

 By intense, its deep. By driving, it is a strong force and as an overmastering feeling or conviction, it overwhelms. When you’re passionate about something, you give it your all regardless.

And just like when you love something, you never give up on it, when you’re passionate about something, you also never give up on it. We could take the passion Jesus Christ went through for us as an example. Jesus Christ went on the way to Calvary in agony and pains because of how much He loved us and how passionate He was about that love He had for us. He never gave up on us despite our sinful nature and stubbornness and the suffering He had to go through to bring us salvation. That is love and passion working hand in hand.

Now, as humans, when were passionate about something, a goal, a dream, what ever good and positive thing it may be, how do we master it?


How do we even know we’re passionate about that thing?


  The first step to discover you’re passionate about something is to be good at it. When you’re successful at something, at a first try, or when you find something easy at a first try,

-          You get a rising excitement about it. Just thinking of it, makes you so happy

-          Secondly, it drives you to come back for more improving your strength

-          It gives you a feeling of wholeness and a sense of purpose.

You don’t have to be passionate about something first before you become successful at it. Success comes with effort and when you don’t put your effort on something, you become good at it and the excitement that comes from being good at something the first, second and third time fuels a passion for it.

Also, in some cases, passion might be there first before success comes in. we’re all different humans and so we all have different reactions to things and situations. So, whichever case you fall in, not giving up is the most essential factor.


You don’t know your passion or you don’t think you have any?


It’s okay……You could create one for yourself. Creating a passion for yourself means inventing or going into something you can be passionate about. It can be a new business venture, taking up a new course, learning a new skill and many more. Whatever it may be, have in mind that having great passion for it will make it go a long way.


That’s why?


 In this case, we’ll implement the fact that success will have to come before passion and to enable that, you have to put in effort which will include persistence and a burning desire wrapped with faith.

Whatever it maybe, with these two qualities wrapped up with faith, you’ll achieve whatever it is you want.


Review


Don’t resent your passion. Control it yes because you can but please don’t kill it. Without it, you’ll be limp and lifeless moving through your days like a robot.

God created you to be full of rest and enthusiasm. Misdirected passion can turn or drain your life away. But God can recycle your zeal and turn it into something useful for him. Trust HIM in every step of the way and keep moving one step at a time.
