“It’s okay Gina...put yourself together I can’t believe it’s been a week already and you’re still crying over Jerry it’s obvious he’s an asshole

“It was four years Tee, four years, I dated Jerry for four years and he had to break up with me had his engagement ring on my finger for an extra year only for me to wake up at a text from him that he wasn’t feeling whatever we had anymore that he found someone he loves and showing up at his doorstep the next day I’m meeting a pregnant woman”
Tracy looked around her friends apartment. The whole house was a mess.
One week after her breakup and Gina’s still locked up in tears and frustration. Haven’t been eating and had lost a large amount of weight.
“It’s okay Gina look at you, you’re a beautiful young lady and any man would want to have you as his own....come on cheer up....your Godson has been dying to meet you...he’s missing he’s favorite mom in whole world” Tracy said trying to cheer her friend up. Tracy was happily married to the love of her life and her son Leo was Gina’s Godson.
“I miss him too
But I can’t see him like this, I’m a total mess...” Gina replied as she stood up and wiped her tears
“Don’t worry I’ll surprise him...this whole Jerry saga didn’t make me forget it’s my Godson’s birthday in two days time”
“Oh yeah this is the Gina I know...come on girl...make me proud....wait let me get a drink...to toast to getting over Jerry and moving on
Two months later....
“Are you really sure about this Gina...like you’re ready to give love another chance? Tracy asked over the phone
“Yes babe...Kev is everything I want in a man and more. The dark tall beard gang. You need to see the way he adores me....remember it took me a month before I finally said yes to dating him...
He kept coming back even when I pushed him away several times” Gina replied with enthusiasm and excitement from the other end
“ I’m so happy for you..Gina I hope he’s the one this time”
“Yes he is...Tee it’s so obvious
the way he always wants to be with me the way he looks at me the way he says I love you to me
I feel like my heart would explode if I’m not with him in a second”
“So tonight we’ll meet up at the lounge and celebrate....Tracy suggested
“Yeah baby...we will

Gina replied and hung up immediately. She had a client to attend to. Gina was a psychologist.

Two hours later, Gina was scrolling through her fun....when something struck her heavily. She saw a post on her Instagram page...in the least of people suggested and there was this familiar face..Kev’s
She clicked and scrolled through. Her heart was pounding her breath was like she needed to gasp.
This was Kev’s face book page. She was seeing pictures of him and a family...Kev was married
How could he lie to me?
Why can men be so evil?
She asked in her thoughts as tears strolled down...

She picked up her phone and dialed his number

Cold night breeze...they had just made out
Kev was at Gina’s house
“Why didn’t you tell me you’re married?
“What? What are u talking about? Kev asked looking surprised
“You has to come into my already ruined life and trample on the leftover pieces....

Why are y’all so evil...what do you have as a heart?
Gina...lamented as she reached out to drawer beside her bed bringing out the kitchen knife she hid there.
“I’m sorry Gina I can explain “ Kev said but it was too late. He wasn’t expecting it...didn’t see it coming. Gina already planted the knife deep in his stomach.... from under the sheets he looked downwards then back at Gina....eyes bulged out...
Then it all went blank
The ringing of Gina’s cellphone made her turn side ways...caller ID showed “Tee with the heart emoji
“ hey babe showed up at the lounge been here for over an hour and no sign of you...what’s up? Tracy asked...... she stilll had the chill of excitement in her voice happy that her best friend finally found love
“ why am I so unlucky at love?
Why can’t I have it like you do....why Tee?
Gina asked from the other end...her breath dying slowly
“What are you talking about Gina what’s wrong with you... Tracy asked
Gina looked sideways at the overdose of painkillers she had gotten high on before Kev came over. She was loosing site of everything before her
