A Christmas Poem: Tis the season
This the season when Merry clusters the air in ravishing delight
when love abounds and giving at it's peak
when our eyes sparkles with radiance of hope
and joy untold fills our deepest hearts
this the season when mama goes to the market with brooms to us our perfect shoe size and papa comes back home with a sack filled with drinks
the season when sotted in the corner of most houses is the beautiful emblem of wood filled with green leaves the call Christmas tree
this the season when a plate of food becomes a meal and the cluster of spoons on plate is heard admit hearty laughter's and cheerful spirits.
the season when our heart leaps in excitement like John the Baptist in the womb of Elizabeth at the sight of Mary.
with stars in the sky like never before
and the wave of dust like an angry ocean occupying the air and transforming to blisters of cold in a silent night
and the littlest of moments becomes lasting memories
this the season
when we celebrate the reason
for the season
born in a manger he lays
while still leaving among us as the
of our lives.
this the season when hope aligns
joy abounds
and love conquers all.
