YOU ARE ENOUGH

I’ve written so many things that never made it out of my drafts. I’ve recorded so many videos that I deleted. Why? Because I felt they weren’t enough. Enough to fit in. enough to be sin. Because I wondered and got worried and feared what people will say. What they will think. And as a result, some I lost and some never got to reach the screens.

Loved by GOD too almost didn’t make it but I’m grateful it did through the help of God and his Holy Spirit.

SO often, we try to fit in. so often, we worry about conforming to the standards of the world, the stereotypes and the myths. You should be rich at this age. You should be graduated at this age, you should be married at this age. You should look like this, you should dress like this, you should eat like this, you should walk like this and the list goes on.

And then judging from the standards of the world, we tell ourselves I’m too fat, I’m too thin, I’m too old, I’m too ignorant, I’m too ugly etc. we sweep our true self under the carpet. We hide our light under the bed. Because we feel we don’t meet up to the standards. Social media and the world is trying to make everyone look alike. And in the bid to look like the other person, our true originality carefully and thoughtfully crafted by God suffers behind the curtains.

But here’s what GODS word says about you. YOU ARE ENOUGH. You were fearfully and wonderfully made. Psalm 139 vs. 14. Don’t attach your worth to a person. Don’t attach your worth to the world’s view of you or certain standards placed by humans. One fact is, no one has been here before. No one has the manual to life.

Find solace in God. Find solace in what his word says about you. He calls you his beloved. His spirit lives inside of you.1 Corinthians 3 vs. 16 attach yourself to God. To his word to his purpose for you.

Put Gods truth in your spirit. Feed it, nurture it and allow it to grow.  Quit telling yourself negative words like I’m too fat, too ugly, not enough etc. it is not wise to speak against our own body. People who do this give room sickness, diseases and depression into their bodies.

Speak life to yourself. Speak life to your body. Celebrate who you are. You are God’s image. You are royalty. You were perfectly created. Break out from that little box you have wrapped around yourself. Every man, every woman of vision need not fit in the worlds standards. You were created by God to be extraordinary.
